A big thank you to all who attended our annual GNABC conference "Coming of Age: The Baby Boomer Effect on Healthcare". in Richmond on September 23rd 2011. We would not have had such a successful conference without your active participation and generosity in the silent auction and draws. The conference organizers are pleased to provide some of the powerpoint presentations used by presenters at the conference. More shall be posted when available. Check on the Education section under articles.

Our Mission

"The Gerontological Nurses Association of British Columbia is a professional organization that supports and advances the professional interests of its members by promoting a social, economic and political climate in which nurses and other healthcare providers that care for the older adult can provide accessible, efficient and effective healthcare that meets the highest professional standards of practice."

Why should YOU join GNABC?

We are excited about being a "new" organization and would like to invite you to join us to promote better healthcare for the older adult throughout the province of British Columbia. At present we have 9 chapters throughout the province. If there is one in your neighborhood we urge you to drop into a meeting for networking and education. What better way to maintain your competence then to get research based educational updates on a regular basis. If there isn’t a chapter close to you, start meeting with five like minded people in your area and form a new chapter. The provincial executive will be pleased to help.
